From NAIA 2, after one hour of smooth air travel from Cebu via PAL PR 842 - me,my wife, and daughter (who waited for my arrival at the airport for almost 20minutes) headed to Manila Ocean Park as early as 8:30 AM not knowing that the oceanarium’s opening is at 9:00 am. Thanks to the food stalls located before the entrance and 30 minutes waiting time I still have the moment to eat breakfast.
Manila Ocean Park is located behind the Quirino Grand Stand in front of Rizal Park Monument. The country’s first state of the art oceanarium opened its door to the public last year and said to be much larger than Sentosa Underworld of Singapore (I've already visited on August 2010).
Entrance Fee is amounting to P400 for adults and P350 for children. Discounted tour packages are also available but we decided to visit only the oceanarium since our time is limited.
The oceanarium was divided into different sections: The Agos Section, Bahura (Reef) Section, Laot (fishing ground), and the Ang Kalaliman(the Deep).
Other attractions such as Penguin Exhibit, Fish SPA, Musical fountain show, and puppet show are also interesting unfortunately we don’t have enough time to visit all since we have an engagement at 1:00 pm.
Importance Notice: Flash Photography is not allowed inside the oceanarium.

It's wonderful. It's very, very cool. How I wish I could bring my family there to appreciate how under the sea animals, fishes, and other mammals live under the sea.

been to the MOP before and it is indeed a great experience :) nice photo set!
Ocean Park was one thing me and my children missed last year during our vacation in the Pihlis .i forgor all bout it. I'm sure my kida will have fun seeing underwater creatures.
tagal ko nang pangarap na makapunta jan, sana next year :)
Wow Ocean Park seems great! I've never been there but after seeing these awesome photos I probably will.
My mom's a marine biologist and an ocean fanatic, so it'll be nice to bring her here.
I've been here once, but it didn't seem all that big. Surprised to know it's bigger than the one in Sentosa (which I haven't been to). Still, I think it's good that we have something like this in the country. I would've wanted to try the Fish Spa, but it was almost closing time.
Nice photos, btw. :)
You've got really wonderful pictures here. And there weren't a lot of people! When we were there it was too crowded so any pic I took was ruined. In any case, it's a good pasyalan in the city for those who can afford it :)
Never been to Ocean Park yet. I enjoyed one in Singapore so I guess, magugustuhan ko din ang Ocean Park. Got excited cause you took beautiful pictures sa place. Thanks for sharing this. :)
Had I not spent so much for my recent surgery, I would have sent my niece and nephew here as a treat. :-)
This is what we called wetless diving...I want to visit here especially that I am a fish lover
Humbly speaking,I haven't really gone to the place..huhuhu..Looking forward to see it next year..
I've been there and it's really awesome to see the different kinds of water creatures! :)
I've been there several times and every time I'm there, the water around me makes me feel cool even though it's actually hot. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well. Hehehe Then it's so sad coz whenever I see the fishes, especially the big ones, all I can think about is food!!! Hahaha
Amazing!
I've never been to Ocean Park, but i'm sure to go there with my family when i go for my vacation *hopefully*
My recent post Kwento ng Pasko
We went to Ocean Park I guess almost 2 years ago. It was a nice experience esp. bringing our daughter there and introducing her to those sea creatures.
Nice photos you took. So clear!
We have been planning to visit Manila Ocean Park with our only 'apo' but never had the chance till now. She's 4 years old so we are sure she will enjoy the place. Maybe next time.
lovely photos! been to the Underwater World in Sentosa but never been to the Manila Ocean Park..booh :(
it was last year when we went to Ocean Park, camera flash is restricted so some of the photos i took were dim :(
thanks for the visit in my Fit and Sound, hoping to see you more often in my other blogs too hehe
glad to see some of the improvements since we were first here... that was such a long time ago, kaka-soft launch pa lang ng manila ocean park. maybe it's high time i bring my son there for a visit :)
I've been staying in Manila for more than 4 years but I still never had the chance to go inside the Oceanarium though I've been to Manila Ocean Park already. I wish someday I could go there. I shall start saving now. Haha.
We are bound to this park next year. Ipasyal ko dito ang aking little boy. Ako din hindi pa nakapunta rito since this was established. Nice one Jeff. :-).
been there a few months after it opened, heard that they have new attractions. will definitely go back again with my son
Merry Christmas from RJ's Mama
